"Simon and I had a wonderful day start to finish at Brook Lane. From arrival, the hotel looked fabulous and the reception was really lovely, with a great atmosphere. The staff were excellent throughout. On walking into the main room to have our meal the room looked amazing, the tables were set up just as I had pictured with the flowers and my favours placed around the place settings. When the food arrived I could not have asked for more, each course was perfect, and amazingly I ate every bit of all my courses! The guests were super impressed with the food, we had nothing but compliments from all the guests about the menu choice.Our room was spectacular, wonderful view out on the balcony with breakfast the following morning being served in our room we felt very well taken care of. I cant thank you Pat, Una and Siobhan, and all the staff at Brook Lane enough for all your help on the lead up to our wedding, and on the day, you helped create wonderful memories and Brook Lane is truly a special place for us. we can't wait to come back." "We had our wedding in the Brook Lane in October 2013. From the day we first met Pat Gath, the manager, he couldn't have been more helpful. We walked out the door after our first meeting and said "This is the place for us!". When the wedding came, Pat was like a broom in every corner. He looked after every guest personally and made sure that everything was perfect. We met several of the other staff members during our stay, they were all wonderful, friendly and more than helpful! They make you feel welcome and completely at home as soon as you walk through the door. The decor is beautiful throughout the hotel and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Our food, both for the wedding meal and for the rest of the weekend, was top notch. We chose fillet steak or salmon for our main course. The fillet steak was cooked to order for each guest and was one of the best steaks I'd ever tasted. The salmon was a very generous size and cooked to perfection. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the Brook Lane. They offer delicious gluten free choices on the menu and lots to keep the kids happy. It is in a great location, minutes walk from Kenmare town. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere that little bit special to have their wedding!" Lucy & Donagh 31.10.15

It was particularly noticeable, both on the day itself and after, the number of our guests that mentioned to us how much they enjoyed their respective meal, stay and breakfast the next morning.
